Location & Parking

 

Salute to America will take place on Wednesday, July 3 from 6-10 p.m. in downtown Kennesaw.

The main stage will be located in front of the Depot, at 2828 Cherokee St., across the street from the Southern Museum of Civil War and Locomotive History.

A family entertainment stage featuring local dance ensembles and music performers will be located on Main Street (near the pedestrian underpass).

Vending areas will be located along Main St. and Cherokee St.

Fireworks will be visible from several locations throughout downtown Kennesaw.

Directions

I-75 Southbound (from Cartersville, GA)
- Take exit 273, turn right off ramp onto Wade Green Rd.
- Drive south on Wade Green Rd., which becomes Cherokee St.
- Continue on Cherokee St. 2-1/2 miles towards downtown Kennesaw.

I-75 Northbound (from Atlanta, GA)
- Take exit 271, turn left off ramp onto Chastain Rd.
- Drive 1 mile on Chastain Rd., which becomes McCollum Pkwy.
- Continue on McCollum Pkwy 1-1/2 miles.
- Turn right onto US-41/Cobb Pkwy.
- Drive 1/2 mile on US-41/Cobb Pkwy.
- Turn right onto Watts Dr. (after BB&T bank).
- Continue on Watts Dr. towards downtown Kennesaw.

Parking
Public parking will be available at the following locations:

- Adams Park and the Ben Robertson Community Center, 2753 Watts Dr.
- Kennesaw City Hall, 2529 J.O. Stephenson Ave.
- Behind the Southern Museum, 2829 Cherokee St.
- Grass lot off Big Shanty Dr./Sardis St., north of the Kennesaw Depot
- Bus turnaround off Big Shanty Dr. (handicap only)
- Kennesaw Teen Center, 2765 South Main St. (handicap only)
- Lot at the intersection of North Main St. and Moon Station Rd. (handicap only)
